Ongoing training helps you to develop in your role and prepare for future roles within the organisation.
Our training programme will assess your training needs, the right training options to meet those needs and the support you will need whilst you are completing training. Regular in house training is available to all staff but in addition we support sponsored vocational training and both paid study leave and paid exam leave are available.
A member of the team who is currently undertaking developmental training describes here why it makes such a difference for them:
'My college course has been extremely useful in helping me to gain further knowledge of housing. It has helped me in my role as I work with people at other housing associations and local authorities, sharing experiences and learning about other job roles. The course has also given me a greater knowledge of housing policy and what the current issues are in the housing sector, focusing on things such as housing law and the advantages and disadvantages of the different way houses can be allocated, for example choice based letting.'
